Employee coverage will begin on the 1st day of the month following 60 days of employment. An example:
- Date hired February 1st.
- 60 days employment would be April 1st.
- Coverage start date on May 1st.

This new system, called “Ease,” will allow you to enter you family information and instantly see accurate rates on each plan available. Once you have selected your plans you can e-sign all necessary forms online.

EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS:
Broken Yolk Cafe pays 80% of the employee cost on the Kaiser Silver plan. Employees who enroll with dependents, or choose to buy up to a better medical plan, will pay all additional premiums over and above the employee only cost of the silver plan. Dental and Vision are premiums are paid 100% by employees.
