Learn all you need to know to prepare for open enrollment this year
NEWS AND UPDATES
We are making the following changes to your benefits program effective December 1, 2022.
NEW ONLINE ENROLLMENT:

All of your benefit information is now available online where you can complete your new enrollment or annual renewal. Please visit this website to review all of your benefit information in more detail. Use the “click to enroll here” button at the bottom of the page to verify your personal information and then enroll or decline in each coverage type; medical, dental, and vision.
EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS:

Santos Lloyd contributes 75% toward a “base medical plan” for employees; the Kaiser Silver 2250/55, and 25% for dependent costs. Employees are responsible for paying for 25% of their costs and 75% of dependent costs; “buy-up” are available to other plans and other carriers. Santos Lloyd contributes 100% toward employee dental and vision plans.
NETWORK OPTIONS:

There are many network options available to employees at Santos Lloyd, the Kaiser and Blue Shield plans listed here are only the most popular and affordable options. Along with HMO, there are PPO and EPO options available. These options will cost more per month from your paycheck, but will allow you to seek treatment from different doctors in the area. You can see the price of these plans when completing enrollment online.

EMPLOYEES LOCATED OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA: Blue Shield PPO is the only option available for selection.

Annual open enrollment is in the month of November. For new employees, open enrollment is
during your 90 day waiting period.


We encourage you to contact your benefits advisor, Duncan Harris, to ensure your benfet elections are still in line with your needs. You must submit changes if you want to:

  • Enroll in coverage for the first time
  • Make changes to your current elections
  • Add/drop dependents from coverage
  • Participate in flexible spending account or dependent care accounts

​You must complete your enrollment by the deadline above or you will not be eligible for coverage until the next open enrollment period.
