Check What Travel Benefits You Have
Are you planning to go on a trip? Check your medical insurance if it includes “out-of-work” benefits. This means that in case something happens to you while you’re on a trip, you’re still insured by your policy. Not a lot of people are aware of this benefit, especially if it is a group policy. Most insurance companies would already consider this as a standard, so it’s best to ask your insurer if they have this option for you. 

Review Your Medical Insurance Policies
To sum it all up, it doesn't hurt to do due diligence on your part and check what type of medical coverage you have with your insurer. Reviewing your contract with them allows you to check whether you've maximized all the benefits you ought to receive and whether you still have enough left to schedule a procedure, among others.
